Would you rather keep studying theory or dive straight into practice? That is often the big question facing school leavers. If you feel the same way, then our cooperative Bachelor’s degree program in Civil Engineering with a parallel skilled worker qualification as a Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Constructor (m/f/d) might be just right for you.

During your studies, you will simultaneously complete a full apprenticeship as a Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Constructor (m/f/d) and a Bachelor’s degree as a Civil Engineer (m/f/d). The theory from the lecture hall and the practice from the construction site are thus optimally linked. And because you actively participate with us, you will receive an apprenticeship salary from us throughout the entire training period.

During your apprenticeship as a Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Constructor (m/f/d), you will be involved in the construction of a building from the groundbreaking to its completion. This way, you will learn your trade from scratch, which will give you an enormous advantage later in your professional life. A special advantage are our challenging construction projects: Anyone who learns how residential complexes, bridge structures, or industrial buildings are built on site will find planning and coordination significantly easier later as a civil engineer.

The study program teaches you the theoretical background. From technical mathematics, structural analysis, building materials science, and building physics to construction informatics.

Curriculum Structure
Compulsory/Elective Modules: 1st to 6th semester spread over 4 years
Core training period: during lecture-free periods and in the 2nd-3rd year
Practical Project: 6th semester
Bachelor’s Thesis: 6th semester

In the 6th semester, students take elective modules that allow for individual specialization, complete the practical project, and usually work on a Bachelor’s thesis in cooperation with us as your practical company. This allows you to prepare specifically for professional practice.
