Contents of the training

Whether it’s a roller, mini excavator, wheel loader, crawler excavator, or telescopic crawler crane – our glass-green machinery park is extensive, and all equipment must be operated professionally to ensure our construction sites run optimally. We will teach you how to do this during your 3-year training as a Construction Equipment Operator.
You will learn how to properly maintain construction equipment, independently carry out repairs for minor damage, and, if necessary, reconfigure the machine to perform the required construction work. Proper loading and transport of machines to and from the construction site are also part of your curriculum. But don’t worry: you’ll get plenty of practice on our construction sites.
At the end of your training, you will have a very good feel for how your machine behaves in different situations and how to remove soil with centimeter precision.

Duration and procedure

In addition to your training on the construction site, you will attend vocational school to expand your practical knowledge with theoretical knowledge.
The first two years of your apprenticeship will focus on the different types of construction technology.

In the intermediate examination before the end of the second year of training, you have to carry out a work sample in a practical examination, e.g. produce a house drainage system.
The final examination at the end of your apprenticeship then comprises three work samples and an additional written examination.
